Treatment Style
Taylor's treatments generally begin with a thorough health history intake questionnaire to be sure that you are receiving the best and safest possible care.
Taylor also completes a pre and post treatment assessment that can include range of motion testing, performing special tests to rule out specific conditions, neurological testing, etc to be able to monitor the changes as you progress through your treatment plan. A personalized treatment plan is created for you to help you to reach your personal goals.
During treatment, Taylor utilizes a variety of indicated massage techniques ranging from Swedish massage techniques, deep fascial techniques, low grade joint mobilizations, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching, and trigger point therapy. Depending on personal preference, Taylor's treatments can range from light, moderate to deep pressure. Her philosophy is that you should feel like you can relax comfortably under her hands, and that massage treatments should not have to be excruciatingly painful to be beneficial.
Lastly, Taylor believes that self care continues beyond the massage table and will often provide custom remedial exercises catered to what you need so that you can continue your care between treatments to help you feel better, faster.
